Rick McClain has been the pastor of Christ Community Church in Lake Charles, LA for 17 years. He is a third-generation pastor, his father and both maternal grandparents having serving as pastors before him. He completed degrees at Mid-America Christian University (BA), Anderson University School of Theology (MDiv) and Fuller Theological Seminary (DMin). He is also a certified Natural Church Development consultant.

Rick has been married to Wava for 27 years. Wava is the music teacher at Dolby Elementary School in Lake Charles. Together, they have two daughters, Christy and Julie, both of whom are students at Hamilton Christian Academy. The McClains enjoy hiking in the mountains and boating here in Louisiana.

Ken Sifford comes by way of sunny south Florida. After graduating from Asbury Colege in 1984 with a B.A. in English, Ken worked in the armored truck business for three years then twelve years in the U.S. Postal Service before entering full time pastoral ministry 10 years ago. He and his wife, Shirley have two sons, Alan and Matt who are both on the tail end of college education. He has preached, taught and led worship in small groups, nursing home ministries, prison ministries, youth and congregational minstries as well as several conferences. His solo acoustic instrumental music is available on the web at cdbaby.com or itunes.
 
Ken is currently serving in the areas of worship, teaching and preaching, leadership coaching and spiritual formation.

Steve Hardesty has been serving as the Director of Children’s Ministries at Christ Community Church since 2003. He is an alumnus of LaGrange High School and McNeese State University. After college he worked in the retail and commercial tire industry for 22 years before entering full time ministry.

Steve, and his wife Drucy, work side by side in children’s ministry. They have been married since 1996, and Drucy is a pharmacist for Walgreen’s. They enjoy traveling and visiting their families in California, Colorado and Missouri.
