FOCUS (SMALL GROUPS)

Focus is a gathering of adults (ages 18 and up) searching for truth about God. Everyone is welcome, regardless of background or current spiritual beliefs. Small Groups of 8 to 10 people study the Bible in a fresh and new way. We look specifically at how the things that God said or did in the past, applies to us today. We learn from each other and keep things fun and exciting through the use of multimedia, skits and small group discussion. God tells us that if we honestly seek Him, we will find Him, and that’s exactly what we intend on doing. FOCUS isn’t about religion, church, or denomination. It’s about looking for answers, developing friendships, seeking God and having fun.

The foundation of Focus comes from Philippians 3:13, which states, “I am still not all I should be, but I am focusing all my energies on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead…” (NLT). We all have our shortcomings. We all know, deep down, that there is something more to life than what we are currently experiencing. We all have regrets from the past. We all have questions about the future. We sometimes wonder if God really exists and if He cares. We often feel as though we are going through this life all alone.
