OUR VISION

We believe that God has a special place in his heart for cities. As we read the book of Acts, the gospel was generally spread from city to city. We believe that God desires to establish his Kingdom in Lake Charles. Therefore, it is the vision of Christ Community Church to see the multiplication of disciples, leaders, ministries, and churches within our city so as to see God’s Kingdom come to each heart and life. We take culture very seriously. We be­lieve that cultural diversity is a part of the plan of God and that most people come to Christ from within their own culture. Thus, we desire to see:

New congregations planted within Christ Community Church which minister to other needs and cultures beyond those which are now met by current ministries.

New satellite congregations planted in outlying areas which minister to needs and cultures similar to those we are now reaching.

The continued growth and development of Christ Community Church since it is God’s desire that "none should perish.”

The continual raising up of leadership from within our congregation to staff new ministries and congregations

To this end, we follow the leadership of God’s Holy Spirit by watching what he is doing. Since each person is called to ministry, we sometimes discover what new directions God wants us to move into by seeing who God adds to the church body.
