Welcome to FORGED Youth, the student ministry of Christ Community Church in Lake Charles, Louisiana. FORGED exists to help middle school and high school students build a faith that lasts, develop authentic friendships, and discover God's purpose for their lives.

In a culture full of pressure, distractions, and uncertainty, students need more than entertainment—they need a strong foundation. Through biblical teaching, worship, discipleship, service, and community, FORGED helps students develop a faith that is tested, strengthened, and ready for real life.

Walk Your Why in '26

Jesus IRL

What does it really look like to follow Jesus in everyday life?

In this phase of our Walk Your Why in '26 journey, students are diving into the four Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—to discover who Jesus is, what He taught, and how His life changes ours today.

Students are exploring:

  • The life and ministry of Jesus

  • The unique perspective of each Gospel writer

  • The teachings and parables of Christ

  • The miracles that reveal His power

  • What it means to follow Jesus in today's world

  • How faith impacts everyday decisions

Jesus isn't just a historical figure—He's real, relevant, and still transforming lives today.

Weekly Gatherings

Junior High (Grades 6–8)

Wednesdays at 6:30 PM

A fun, engaging environment where students build friendships, learn God's Word, and discover how faith applies to everyday life.

Senior High (Grades 9–12)

Sundays at 6:30 PM

A place where students deepen their faith, build authentic community, and learn how to live boldly for Christ.

Each gathering includes games, worship, biblical teaching, discussion, and opportunities to connect with other students.

To equip students to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ by helping them know God, grow in their faith, serve others, and impact their world.

We believe parents are the primary spiritual influence in a student's life. FORGED Youth partners with families by providing a safe, encouraging, and Christ-centered environment where students can grow spiritually and build lasting relationships.
