At SALT Children's Church, we believe every child is uniquely created by God and has a purpose in His Kingdom. Our mission is to partner with families by providing a safe, exciting, and Christ-centered environment where kids can discover God's truth, build lasting friendships, and develop a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.

Sunday Mornings

Every Sunday is an adventure at SALT Children's Church! Our services are designed specifically for kids, combining energetic worship, interactive teaching, exciting games, and hands-on activities that make learning about Jesus fun and memorable.
Children enjoy engaging worship where they can sing, dance, clap, and celebrate Jesus together. Many of the worship songs are the same ones our church family sings during the main service, helping kids feel connected to the entire church while also enjoying songs created just for them.
Following worship, children experience dynamic Bible lessons that bring God's Word to life. Through storytelling, activities, games, and discussion, they learn practical truths about prayer, worship, kindness, generosity, serving others, and how to live for Jesus every day.
Early Childhood (Infants–Kindergarten)
Our Early Childhood Ministry is lovingly led by Mrs. Renee Unsworth and is specially designed for our youngest children. Each classroom is age-appropriate and filled with Bible stories, worship, crafts, and interactive learning experiences. Our caring volunteers provide a safe and nurturing environment where every child knows they are loved by God and by their church family.
Elementary (Kindergarten–5th Grade)
Our Elementary Ministry is led by Pastor Steve Hardesty and Mrs. Drucy Hardesty, who have faithfully served at Christ Community Church for many years. Through engaging Bible lessons, exciting games, worship, and interactive activities, children build a strong biblical foundation while discovering how to follow Jesus in their everyday lives.
SALT Kids Midweek
Wednesdays • 6:30 PM
Looking for a midweek faith boost? SALT Kids Midweek is our Wednesday night experience for children in 1st–5th Grade during our adult Growth Groups.
Wednesday nights are packed with exciting Bible lessons, Scripture memory, hands-on activities, team games, and opportunities to participate in children's musicals and special events throughout the year. It's a place where kids can recharge after school, build meaningful friendships, and continue growing in their faith.
Our leaders are committed to creating a welcoming atmosphere where every child is known, encouraged, and challenged to become more like Jesus. More than simply teaching Bible stories, we strive to help children understand how God's Word applies to everyday life and inspire them to live out their faith with confidence.
At SALT Children's Church, we want every child to leave knowing three simple truths:
